Job Profile : Operations & Accounting work for Reinsurance | |||
Key Responsibilities | Financial · Budget and achieve revenue for the vertical every year · Build relations to explore new markets & opportunities for expansion / growth · Improve productivity and resource utilization to impact profitability. Business Process · Analyse portfolio information based on requirements of Insurance Company · Ensure team gets quotes from reinsurers for various lines of business · Prepare Slips and structure for Treaty / RI requirements · Compare RI Quotes and terms · Ensure successful placement with rated reinsurers within stipulated time · Ensure operating systems are always updated accurately · Ensure Complete documentation as per SOP immediately after each placement · Follow IRDA regulations with respect to reinsurance placements · The team should always be in touch with the Insurance Companies so as to assess the RI requirements. · Self-updated/ Continuous monitoring and tracking of various developments in Global and Local market on competition to capitalize on the opportunities available. · Liaise with reinsurers for placement of business through worldwide networking and database analysis · Ensure proper and timely service on technical accounts, claims and in settlement. · Submit MIS to management within specified timelines. | ||
